Dumpling Party 2009

Hosted by UDCSSA, advisor Ming Xu and his brother Ping Xu, three dumpling parties were held on July 18th and August 30 in Ping Xu's house to welcome newly arrived graduate students, undergraduate students, scholars and ELI students for Fall Semester, 2009. Apart from the committee members of UDCSSA, about 160 students ?attended this party. Other Chinese organizations have also attended this party.
Thanks to the work done by those volunteers and the hospitality of Ping Xu, we enjoyed the wonderful traditional Chinese food--the dumplings together with other dishes. ?This party created such a wonderful environment for us to get to know each other. It's also a successful event for both our advisors and the UDCSSA.
