National Field Hockey League
The National Field Hockey League (NFHL) is the governing body for club field hockey. Estblished in 1997, the league allows club field hockey teams to participate in competitive play and provides structure for the club division.
The University of Delaware is a part of the Central Division of the National Field Hockey League. In this division are the following teams:
Binghamton University
Drexel University
Messiah College
Philadelphia University
Rowan University
St. Josephs University
Temple University
University of Delaware
University of Pennsylvania
University of the Sciences in Philadelphia
Villanova University
At the end of every fall season, the top colleges in the NFHL compete in the Elite 8 tournament.
The NFHL follows the NCAA rules of play which can be viewed on the United States Field Hockey Associated Official Website.
