Agenda

Greek Council is committed to serving the needs of the IFC, Panhel, NPHC, and Independent Chapters at the University of Delaware.  In addition, our goal is to improve the quality of Greek life at the University while serving the needs of the greater community.

There are three parts to the 2007-2008 Agenda.

1.  Improve Relations with the University and City of Newark.

A positive connection with the University allows us to expand our community and work aggressively to achieve the greater mission set by the school.  In addition, a strong relationship with the City of creates opportunities to develop Newark into a strong and exciting college town.

2.  Education

Every student’s first priority at Delaware is to get a degree.  Academics should always be first priority.  It is important to have educational experiences outside the classroom.  Through a Leadership, Diversity, and University Educational Speaker Series, students will attain new knowledge and build their confidence to succeed in the real world.

3.  Service

As Greeks, we must always remember that we are privileged to be students and members of the Greek community.  Everyday, we are surrounded by those who are less privileged.  It is our obligation to always be the guiding hand for those in need.  Through various service projects, we can improve the quality of life one day at a time.
