UD Pilots Single-Stream Recycling

UD has begun a single-stream recycling pilot program on Laird and South Campuses.  The simplified process is expected to increase recycling 10 to 30 percent.  SGA's input and pledged assistance with outreach and educational initiatives to increase recycling rates at UD are acknowledged in this UDaily article about the program.
 


SGA President to Address Class of 2012 at New Student Convocation

Teagan Gregory, SGA President, along with UD President, Dr. Patrick T. Harker, and UD Vice President for Student Life, Dr. Michael Gilbert, will address the Class of 2012 at UD's New Student Convocation on Tuesday, September 2nd.  Read more about it:

Dining Halls Go Trayless!

SGA honored with four 2008 YoUDee Student Leadership Awards, including Overall Achievement

SGA was honored at the sixth annual YoUDee Student Leadership Awards in mid-May, with four awards and at least 7 nominations.   SGA won the Outstanding Diversity Program Award and its Treasurer, Tyrone Edwards, was given the Grossman Memorial Award.  SGA also won in two of the most prestigious categories:  winning the Outstanding Overall Achievement Award, and President Casey Patriarco winning the Outstanding RSO Female Leader Award.  Read more about it:

Senior Day Rained Out, But Reigned On

The sixth annual Senior Day, co-sponsored with SCPAB, and complete with food, inflatables, give-aways, a live band, and other activities, celebrated the senior class and its graduation from UD.  A few lucky seniors won prizes from a brand new car to TiVos.  Read more about it:

SGA's FestivALL A Huge Success

SGA's first FestivALL, featuring free full course buffet, and collaboration between 40 student groups, was an enormous success.  3000+ students enjoyed five hours of performances by student groups on the North Green on a gorgeous, sunny day. Read more about it:
