The Baby Hen 2000 was held on October 7th, 2000 in Purnell and MBNA America Halls on the main campus on the University of Delaware. The Baby Hen 2000 was a freshman & sophomore tournament which 24 teams from 13 schools attended. The format was a 3 division round robin, with the top 2 teams from each division advancing on to play the other teams in the other divisions. After all was said and done, Princeton (11-0) swept through the field undefeated to win the inaugural Baby Hen tournament. Pittsburgh A (9-2) and Duke A (9-2) placed second and third, respectfully.
