The 4th installment of the Baby Hen tournament was held on Saturday November 22, 2003 in Purnell Hall at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.  Nine teams attended this years event, with the University of Pennsylvania emerging victorious from the round robin with a 7-1 record. In the final round, Penn defeated Georgetown clinch the title and prize.  Will from Pittsburgh won the scoring prize this year.

For their efforts the Quakers received a biographical dictionary and other assorted books. In fact, everyone in attendance at the prize ceremony received a book or comic book for their efforts. Many books from my overflowing stash were given away including a Merriam Webster Biographical dictionary, Fishes: An Introduction to Icthyology, textbooks on Economics, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry, Tristram Shandy, The Immoralist, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Future Shock, There He Goes Again:Ronald Reagan's Reign of Terror, various near mint comic books from 1986-1987, and several other
books. For some reason, nobody picked up Fodor's Pocket Tokyo. Doesn't anybody else like to read random
travel books?

I also regifted, er re-awarded two books: The Professor and the Madman which I won at 2002 NAQT SCT at UVA and The Football Encylopedia which I won at the inaugural COTKU.

I'd like to thank Dwight Kidder, Adam Fine, Josh the Chemist from Pitt, Erin Milligan, Mark Pellegrini and Bill Tressler for moderating. Meanwhile, Rob Tribbett was poppin' the Cristal in the stat(e)room.

I'd also like to thank David Balseiro, Eliot Brenner, Matt Cushman, Jeff Ladd, J.P. Lien, Dennis Loo, Erin Milligan, Mark Pellegrini, Julie Singer, Rob Tribbett, and Chris White for writing questions.
