On Saturday February 1, 2003, the Charter School of Wilmington hosted to the second annual NAQT Delaware State Championship tournament. Twelve teams, representing seven schools, participated in this year's field. The field was randomly assigned in the first two rounds, with modified swiss-pairing for the next four. The top four teams played a single-elimination bracket for the championship, with the middle four teams playing in their own bracket, and the bottom four playing in their own bracket. In the end, Charter School of Wilmington won their second straight state championship, with their "Splinter" beating their "Donatello" in the championship game. Salesianum held off Sanford in the consolidation game to finish in third place.
