The History of Beta Upsilon
Beta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha
Gamma Rho traces its roots to January of 1991 when a colony was first organized
at the University of Delaware. Beta Upsilon was installed as a full chapter
on November 7, 1992 to become the 62nd active chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
The installation was performed by brothers from Virginia Tech and the National
Office. Our first advisor, Richard Morris, was an alumni of Virginia Tech.
We have ourselve installed two
chapters: Beta Upsilon re-installed Alpha Theta chapter at the University
of Maryland in 1994 and installed Beta Psi chapter at Delaware Valley College
in February 2001.
