Academic Year Fall 2008 - Spring 2009

October

29th- Professor Meet and Greet LDL Lobby.  Students were able to meet the Chemistry and Biochemistry Professors and Graduate Students. The event ran from 8-10am a variety of food and refreshments. 

10th- A Professor Research Panel.  Various Professors from around campus gave talks on their research, trying to recruit new students.  Professors from Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Medical Technology, and Health & Excercise Science.

September

20th- Meet and Greet Breakfast in Lamont duPont Lab Foyer.  This event encouraged members to come and meet their Chem/Biochem professors as well as graduate student, TA's, officers, and members of the ASBMB on UD's Campus. The event lasted about 2 hours and had a great turnout.  Offered a variety of refreshment and food to all who came.

March 3rd, Monday, 5:00-6:00pm; 205 Brown Lab-  First meeting and make your own ice cream, pizza was also involved.

Meetings

General Meeting, Tuesday, October 9th, Perkins 7-7:30pm, then from 7:30-9:30 in the Hen Zone. The meeting discussed upcoming events as seen on the events page. Also discussed were fundrasing events such as T-shirt and poster sales.

November 15th, Thursday; 007 Brown Lab- Coupled to the end of the Student Panel for Undergraduate research.

$6.00 with UD ID, Transportation provided by the University
Buses leave at 10am and return at 4pm
