Welcome Back!!!
Welcome back mechanical engineers to the spring 07' semester! We have been hard at work on creating some fun events for this coming semester. First, we would like you to check out this new website. We hope that this will prove to be an easy way to see what we are currently involved with. We would like to start this semester off with an engineering themed shirt design contest. For more information on creating a design and possibly winning a free shirt, click on the Shirt Design link listed under Activities. For this past semester, the trip to Punkin' Chunkin' was a great success. Everybody who went had a good time. In the spirit of that yearly event, we would like to hold a trebuchet contest of our own. If there is enough interest we will go ahead with the plans. The last week of February is when Engineers Week is held. We personally are putting together several fun and informative activities as well as an Early Career Forum. Eagles fans take note. In cooperation with the senior section of ASME, we will be taking a tour of Lincoln Financial Field in March. More information and dates for all of these activities will be posted as soon as they are confirmed.
