Event Descriptions

Emmaus house: This is a home for families getting back on their feet. Once a week we go there to play with the children and give the parents a chance to have some alone time. This event takes place every Monday

Newark Manor : This is a nursing home where we go and participate in Happy Hour. We serve the residents drinks and snacks while making friendly conversation with them. The residents love the company. This event takes place on certain Friday's. Check the calendars for exact dates.

Food Bank: Here we can be assigned to do a myriad of things from sorting food, to packing up bags of potatoes. Most likely it will be sorting. This event is some hard work and you feel great after doing it. This event normally takes place once or twice a month. Check the calendars for exact dates.

Ronald McDonald House: This is an event were we go to cook and prepare a breakfast for families who have children in the A.I. Dupont Hospital. This event normally takes place once or twice a month. Check the calendar for exact dates.
