Committee Chair Application

Below is the application for the Committee Chairs. The application is universal for all the Chairs. Remember to be a Committee Chair you must be a dues paid member and registered for the full academic year.

The following Committee Chairs are open for the 2008-2009 school year:

K-Family Relations: This Chair is responsible for keeping in touch with our sponsoring Kiwanis Club, and try to get in contact with local Key Clubs so we can work with them and spread the word of Circle K at college.

Scrapbook: This Chair is responsible for the annual production of the club scrapbook that gets submitted at District Convention. You are considered to be the historian and take pictures of various events and service projects that the club participates in.

Social: This Chair is responsible for putting together social events or little get togethers for us to do as a club. It can be anything from movie night to game night, just something to get us together as friends, not as a club.

Fundraising: This Chair is responsible for finding and setting up fundraising ideas that our club could use to raise a little money.

Relay for Life: This Chair is responsible for attending meetings and keeping all things organized for the Annual Relay For Life that our school participates in. They will be the team captain and keep communication between the head of the people running Relay For Life. This position is not open until February 2009, but you can still apply for it now. Alissa is the current Chair.

Webmaster: This Chair is responsible for updating and maintaining the club website. If there is anything that needs to be added to the site or changed, or if the chair feels like doing something that would make it more functional, that is their job. This is more of a preperational job to learn for the following year.

Alumni Relations: This Chair is responsible for getting in contact with past members of Circle K at UD to see how they are doing and to arrange Alumni events, such as the 30 year Anniversary of UDCKI Alumni Brunch we had this year.

You may apply for multiple committee chairs, but please apply in the order you want most. In other words the first one you submit will be considered your first preference and the next one your second preference and so on.

Applications are due by April 1 , 2008 by midnight!
