About the
club :
The Cosmopolitan Club was formed over thirty-five years ago, for the following
purposes:
1. To welcome new international students to the
2. To provide opportunities for foreign and domestic students to meet one
another and become involved in social activities.
3. To organize educational and informative programs for both domestic and
foreign students.
4. To promote understanding of foreign cultures on campus and within the
community.
In doing all the above, the real purpose is to meet people and have fun. If you want to know more about the cosmo events and people, click on the following link:
International Night End. This movie was projected at the end of
the international night 2006 and summarize well this cosmo
year 2005-2006 by the way of a pictures slideshow.
Cosmo members may also be able to help with tutoring in a particular language,
since we have speakers of many different languages. If you're interested, come

How to join
The Club meets weekly, so to find out more, or to join, just show up at our
weekly coffee hour at Adria
Cafe in Newark Shopping Center. We
usually meet around 10:00 PM on
Fridays - but only while classes
are in session.
Membership dues and benefits
Membership is only $10 for a semester and $15 for the academic year. Only
members can go on the trips organized by the club, as they are often partially
subsidized by University funds.
