What is D.O.U.G ???

D.O.U.G (Delaware's Organization of Undergraduate Geographers) is an organization geared towards geography and environmental science majors, as well as, anyone who has interests in how humans and the environment interact.

Objective - To foster a better understanding of the Earth, its many environments, and how we, as humans, interact with it; while providing resources for undergraduate to pursue future goals, create networks, and become familiar with faculty.

Now that you know what D.O.U.G. is, I guess you just might be wondering what Geography really is?

Geography is the study of man, land and environment; how these components interact; and what kind of impact this interaction has. This includes climatology, geomorphology, meteorology, remote sensing, human geography, regional geography,cultural and social geography, and much more.
