Hello E52ers.

So as the summer draws to a close, I’ve recently found out that the gallery we were using for our photos dumped all their photos before they upgraded to their new format. What’s that mean? It means they deleted all our photos. So I need your help to get these back. Most of them were donated by you guys anyway, so I hope you’ve still got them, and hopefully we’ll get some new stuff, too.

In the first few weeks back at school, I’m going to be combing through the files on the computer we have in the office and working with the exec board and our historian to recover as much of it as possible.

But we’ll still need your help. I need photos from any E-52 event. Auditions, rehearsals, plays, tech weeks, 24 hours of Shakespeare, social events. ANYTHING YOU HAVE. Please make sure there’s some way to tell what show/year it was. You can email them to me at cmrodrig@udel.edu, or it would be easier if you could put them on a disc (I can walk you through the process if you don’t know how). Call me (my number’s at the bottom) or catch up with me at a meeting to get me discs and we’ll have the gallery up and running again in no time.

As for the gallery, I’ve decided that the most promising idea would be to switch to Yahoo!’s Flickr. Mostly because I’ve used them before, and they at least notify you and give you time to retrieve your files before they dump them into the cyber-abyss. There will be more information, including a link, on the website soon.
