Welcome Back!!

Welcome back returning students and a very warm welcome to all of the freshman that decided to join EWB! Over the last year and the summer we have accomplished many things in Cameroon (you can check it out in the photo gallery here), in addition to discussing ideas for a Guatemala project. This year we hope to finalize the new project, in addition to a multitude of other things. Again, welcome back and let's have a successful year!

We also hope that many new members will help us to expand the club to increase the number of active projects as well as expand campus awareness. Please come attend general meetings every Thursday at 7:00 pm in 223 Gore Hall.

EWB-USA International Conference
April 12 – 14, 2007, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, MA

The Conference theme, “Bringing Resources Together to Build Vital Communities,” will focus on many new concepts, technologies and long range planning processes for strengthening worldwide collaborative efforts. What will be the role for humanitarian organizations like ours to play in the year 2030? Will the Millennium Goals be enough? Are we confident that our future communities will be sustainable? This conference will take our own project experiences and lessons learned and place them into a pathway for the future. We would like to invite you to partner with us in building greater understanding of how this “sustainability revolution” becomes a vital part of our life’s work.
