About the NAACP University of Delaware Chapter
At the University of Delaware, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) goal is to strengthen the community. We plan to aid in the successful transition of students into capable knowledgeable citizens. To do this, we put together programs that will benefit the students and prepare them for the real world. NAACP’s objective for programs is to concentrate on politics, equal justice within the law, voter empowerment, health, education and opportunities outside of the college realm.

At the University of Delaware, this chapter is also looking for new members no matter the race, age, sex or socio-economic status. NAACP is always open to new ideas and willing to try new techniques to educating the community.
