NOW CAN

at the University of Delaware

National Organization for Women-Campus Action Network (NOW CAN) is a student based chapter of The National Organization for Women.

We are an eclectic and diverse group of students who are concerned about the rights and treatment of women domestically and internationally. We work to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society. In addition we fight to secure abortion, birth control and reproductive rights for all women and hope to end all forms of violence against women. Our goal is to eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia and promote equality and justice in our society. We recognize that racism, sexism and homophobia are interrelated, and that other forms of oppression such as classism and ableism work together with these three to keep power and privilege concentrated in the hands of a few.
