Performances
Eta Rho sisters are seen performing at a variety of events for and outside the fraternity.
Within the sisterhood, there are solo, collaborative, and ensemble performance opportunities available. We have monthly musicales and formal meetings, and we hold an Awards Ceremony at the end of each semester. Occasionally we will hold joint musical performances with the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the men's music fraternity on campus or other college and alumnae chapters of ΣAI.
Musicale themes in the past have included, but were not limited to, international, silly, variety, Broadway, American, female composers, etc. For interested members, we also have a small vocal ensemble, the ΣAI Chorale, that performs at select fraternity events.
Outside the sisterhood, we have (or have had in the past) members in the Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, Schola Cantorum, Chorale, University Singers, Opera Workshop, Concert Choir, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, UD String Quartet, Clarinet Ensemble, D-Sharps, the only all-female a cappella group at UD, and Visual Arts Production Company, the indoor colorguard.
