So, what is Tutoring for Tomorrow? We are a registered student organization at the University of Delaware, dedicated to tutoring children at local elementary schools, high schools, and boys and girls clubs. Is joining the club a big committment? No. You can tutor however much or little as you would like. We ask that you sign up for at least one hour every week and attend the sessions you commit to at the Boys and Girls Club. I don't have a car! What do I do? We will have one of our other members drive you. Most members tutor in groups, so there will be someone else tutoring at the same time as you. Do you have to be an education major to join? Definitely not. We accept all majors! Are there any other commitments besides tutoring? We have meetings about once a month for a 1/2 hour. The meetings are mandatory, unless you have class. Is tutoring really that fun? Yes, I almost guarantee you will look forward to the time you spend tutoring! |
