Editing this Style-Sheet Based ePortfolio Site

Since this is an external style sheet based eportfolio web, you can change the color scheme and fonts for the whole site by changing one file.  Click the links below to see the color schemes that are available.

   1.  alamellen (this scheme with Helvetica font)
   2.  altinado
   3.  amber
   4.  ambigoro
   5.  blutatmeo
   6.  cambrio
   7.  cheneyhunt
   8.  kwon
   9.  monochrome
   10. pastmere

You are welcome to explore setting the color schemes yourself.  In nVu, pull down the Tools menu and select CSS editor.  Set your color scheme before you start editing your site.  Call me if you have detailed questions.

Download a copy of this web site and all of the alternate schemes by clicking on this link.

If you want to use one of the color schemes, go to the "alt_styles" folder and move the color scheme you like into the root folder.  Delete the "styles.css" file and change the name of the file you just moved to "styles.css".   That's it.

IMAGES:    You can use the *susyq.psd to create your own banner, or you can just use text on the banner.  The "pdfButton.gif", "icon_audio.gif", "icon_spacer.gif", and "icon_video.gif" files can stay but the rest are licensed and copyright protected materials. You need to remove them before you start building your web site.  I have provided them as an example of pictures that you might try to pose yourself.

Editing the simple Table-Based ePortfolio Sites

If you want to use the simple, table-based portfolio sites, remember that you have to code the color scheme for each page.  Upon request, I will send you a link for the zip file from the Portfolio 3 site.  Some color schemes are:
1.  Portfolio 3 site
2.  Portfolio 4 site
3.  Portfolio 5 site
4.  Portfolio 6 site

Original CSS site

If you want the original CSS site, found at:
http://copland.udel.edu/~budclark/portfolio1/     .... send an email or call me.  Due to problems with Internet Explorer compatibility, this site has to remain pretty much in the style and colors as shown until the new Windows operating system brings a new Internet Explorer browser to the arena.  You can add and customize graphics, all the text,....but that's about it.

Portfolio Sites that do not work with Internet Explorer at all at this time:
1.   Three Column site (IE will not accept "floating" image that wrap in this version because there is not layering heirarchy.
2.  Second Three Column site (abandoned for several IE compatibility issues).
