So, I'm perusing the album... then I come across Track 5: Beating Around the Bush. Holy Smokes Batman... this tune flat out ROCKS!!! So, the next thing that pops into my head: "MUST... MAKE... POD... COP... THIS... TONE... ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!! Somebody give me a guitar!!!"
So it's gettin' late, I've got the computer fired up, and the guitar plugged into the POD. The CD is in the drive. I listen. I twiddle the POD. I play. I listen. I twiddle the POD. I play some more. Okay, Plexi is the ticket. Drive Boost on. Hmmm... Bass at 9 o'clock. Let see, about 12 o'clock sounds good on the Middle knob. And... about 1 o'clock sounds pretty good on the Treble and Drive. I've got Sound Diver running, the SBLive Mixer, the Recorder app. In Sound Diver, I fix up some nice tight, short Reverb, set the AIR in the middle, set up a Delay for stereo image and color without actually making any echo. Okay... we're gonna need some EQ... I set 100Hz to -6dB and 250Hz to -12db on my post-POD graphic EQ. Okay, let's pan my guitar sound to the opposite side of Angus (he's on the left, and I'm on the right). Okay, Angus, buddy, you start out and I'll answer your guitar part with the POD. Ready?... Here we gooooo...
Hey... what do you think? Let me know!
