Guidelines for Computer Class Homework 2001

1. Format:

· All assignments are to be typed.

· Use Times New Roman in a font size of 12.

· Top and bottom margins are to be 1”; left and right margins are to be 1.25”.

· Your Caravel heading should be single-spaced.

· The body of the homework should be double-spaced.

2. Content:

· Often I will ask that in the first paragraphs you summarize a certain topic and in the last paragraph you state your opinion about that topic.

· Provide enough detail to really communicate your thoughts. Use examples from class to support your ideas.

3. Writing style:

· Complete sentences and good paragraph structure should be used.

· Be sure to proofread your work and use the spell-check, grammar-check, and thesaurus.
