I serve also as supplemental faculty at the Music
Department at the University of Delaware, teaching the
distance-learning sections of MUSC101 (Appreciation of Music) via the
Internet.
I moved to Newark, Delaware
in 1997. The town's name is pronounced with stress on the first
syllable -- as with the like-named city in New Jersey -- but with the
last syllable pronounced like "ark" -- not "erk"as with the like-named city in New Jersey.
Some of you may remember my old libretto site that used to be kept on my web account
at Indiana University. Those texts are now at Rick Bogart's OperaGlass. (For anyone interested, here is a local link to the libretto of my opera, Starbottle
for the Plaintiff.)
