The stupendous, amazing, unbelievable AB3AP station! Well, ok, so
maybe you won't see it in the pages of QST anytime soon, but I kinda
like it. :-)
Here's what's piled up in the photo:
HF Rig:Elecraft K2.
This is a fantastic little rig that I can't say enough good things
about. Plus, you get to have fun building it yourself! Here are
a couple photos of the rig just when construction was completed.
First photo and
another photo.
VHF/UHF Rig: Yaesu 7800R.
A nice 2m/70cm rig with basic features for a good price.
QRP Rig!: A little Rockmite
isn't shown here but is a lot of fun.
Antenna Tuner:
The Elecraft KAT100, also a kit like the K2, is tightly integrated
with the K2 offering some nice perks. The down side is that it
won't work with any other rig.
Paddles:Kent Engineers
kit.
I went from the cheap key in my Rockmite
photo to these. Fantastic upgrade! Kent's after purchase support is
pathetic, however, so don't expect anything there.
Antennas: 260' dipole up 50', attic coil
shortened dipole for 10m through 80m (just in case the dipole
falls down!), and attic 2m/70cm j-pole (aka vertical Zepp).
