E1: You don't have a UDelNet ID yet

Dear Student:

I noticed on the attendance sheet that you indicated
that you don't yet have your Udel mail address. Perhaps, by now,
you have corrected that, but if not, here are some hints to help
you.

Go to: http://www.udel.edu/network

You can sign in with your student id (probably your social security
number) and your PIN. (If you don't have a PIN yet, go to
https://www.mis4.udel.edu/udpin to establish a PIN first.)

Once you sign in at http://www.udel.edu/network, you can set up your
UDelNet ID (which is the same as your UD email address).

If you want, you can have your UD email forwarded to your current email account account (e.g. AOL account, Comcast, account, etc.) You can set up email forwarding at the same page: http://www.udel.edu/network.

Please do this right away. It is important for you to have a UDelNet ID in order to keep up with the work in this class. You will need that
UDelNet ID to complete your homework assignments.

You will not be able to access WebCT until at least 24 hours
after you establish a UDelNet ID. You cannot submit your homework
or have your homework graded until you have access to WebCT.

Please email me back once your UDelNet ID is set up, or if you are
having problems with that, let me know what problems you are running
into.

Regards,

Phill Conrad

E2: You haven't claimed your seat yet.

You are registered for my course, CISC@@@, in section @@@. However,
I didn't find your name on the attendance sheet for @@@.

If this is an error, I apologize: please let me know, and I will look for your name again. If not, please let me know whether you intend to remain registered for this course.

If so, you need to attend class on xxx, and sign the attendance
sheet. Otherwise, consistent with the "Seat Claim Policy" at:

http://udcatalog.udel.edu/general/undergrad/ugregs.html#claim

you may not be permitted to receive any grade other than "Z" for the semester.
I hope to see you in lecture on @@@, and that your TA,
@@@ , will see in you in lab @@@, so that you may
continue in the course.

If it is your intention to drop the course, please let me know, and please go to SIS+ and drop the course as soon as possible, to create space for another student.

Regards,
Phill Conrad
Instructor, CISC@@@ section @@@

E3: You aren't registered for the course

@@@:
I was reviewing the CISC@@@ attendance sheet and found your name
on the sheet for @@@. However, I didn't find your name on the
sheet for @@@, and you weren't listed in WebCT or on SIS+ as being
registered for the course.

Please let me know whether you intend to add the course on your
schedule.

Thanks,
Phill Conrad
