Nuclear Energy's Long-Term Viability

Energy Solutions

Our Position:

We collectively agree that although nuclear energy is a viable option for long-term energy, but it is not the only option. At least three other options are available: Solar power, hydroelectric power and geothermal power. There are advantages and disadvantages of each option, including geographic restrictions, and weather dependence. Solar power, hydroelectric power and geothermal power all produce less energy than nuclear power, but are not as dangerous to produce. All three sources are eco-friendly because they are renewable.
